dhṛtiḥ kṣamā damo'steyaṁ śaucamindriyanigrahaḥ | dhīrvidyā satyamakrodho daśakaṁ dharmalakṣaṇam ||
Universal Translation
Steadfast fortitude (Dhriti), forgiveness (Kshama), self-control (Dama), non-stealing (Asteya), purity (Shaucha), mastery of senses (Indriya-nigraha), wisdom (Dhi), spiritual knowledge (Vidya), truthfulness (Satya), and absence of anger (Akrodha) — these ten constitute the marks of Dharma.
